| Baby-sitters Training This is an eight-hour course designed to teach youth, 11-15 yrs of age, the responsibilities and qualities of a good babysitter, and what to expect from the person who hires them. Basic childcare, first aid, safety issues and injury prevention are some of the skills that are taught in this class. This class is scheduled on a quarterly basis the class for the summer 2008 quarter will be scheduled for July 2008.
CPR Challenges/ CPR/PR/AED/O2 All challenges meet the ECC 2006 guidelines. Participants who hold a current Red Cross CPR certification may challenge their skills by taking a written test passing with a score of 80% or greater followed by a practical skills test. If you pass both tests you will be Red Cross CPR certified for another year. CPR challenges are scheduled for the first Wednesday of each month starting at 5:30pm times will vary, your scheduled time will be given at the time of registration. Cost for CPR challenge is $20.00 or $16.00 with a current KOPFC membership.
First Aid and CPR for the Professional / AED Class This class is designed for anyone to take, the work place professional or even if you just want to be First Aid and CPR certified. This class is scheduled for the first Friday and Saturday of each month. Cost of the class is $40.00 or $32.00 with a current KOPFC membership. For this class the participant can take just the First Aid or the CPR class. Cost for 1st aid only is $15.00 or $12.00 with a current KOPFC membership. Cost for CPR only is $30.00 or $24.00 with a current KOPFC membership.

Lifeguard Challenge Lifeguard challenges meet the Red Cross 2006 guidelines. Participants who hold a current Red Cross Lifeguard certification may challenge their skills by taking a written test passing with a score of 80% or greater followed by a practical skills test. If you pass both tests you will be Red Cross Lifeguard certified for another 3 years. CPR/PR/AED is not included in this challenge. Lifeguard challenges are scheduled on a quarterly basis. LGT challenge for the summer quarter is scheduled for June 2008.
