| This class is desingned for students who have passed level 5B or an equivalent class and will help those interested in competitivie swimming make the transition from lessons to competitive swimming easier. This class will focus on continuing to refine the 4 competitive strokes (Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Freestyle) by learning and practicing different stroke drills. Students will also learn competitive starts from the black as well as competitive turns pertinent to each stroke. This class will also focus on using the pace clock and doing sets that will help to build thier endurance. Once studentspass this level they will move on to the Jr/Sr Bronze KYAT team. Class dates follow our swim lesson program dates (see registration schedule). Class fee is $24.00 for members and $29.00 for general public.
